  1. I saw a saree a few days back and I loved it. I want to place an order but am unable to find it.

We have a variety of Banarasi products that have very distinct designs which are made to order especially by the weavers. However, if the pictures of such pieces that are sold once are shared through WhatsApp, we can place and order again and make it for you.

  1. I saw a saree a few days back and I loved it. I want to place an order but it says sold out. When will it be available again?

To order sold-out products, please Whatsapp or email us the details. If the design is on the loom, we can get it woven again for you

  1. I like a saree from your collection. What is the material?

In the product description, all details about the weave and material are mentioned. If you still have any queries/clarifications, please WhatsApp or email your queries.

  1. Do you stitch blouses?

No, we don’t stitch blouses. As sizes and designs are different for each and every one.

  1. Do the sarees come with a blouse piece?

Yes, most of the Banarasi sarees come with blouse pieces attached

  1. Can I return/ exchange the product if I do not like it?

We do not have any return policy, hence return or exchange of product is not possible. Returns or exchanges will only be accepted in the case of a manufacturing defect or dispatch of the incorrect item.

  1. How do I check the status of my order?

 We regularly update the tracking details on your order page. You can also contact us with order number if you can’t find the details in the tracking page

  1. How can I check if katansi delivers to my PIN Code?

We deliver everywhere in the world, irrespective of the location

  1. How are orders placed on katansi delivered to me?

The orders placed are delivered through courier. The courier agencies that we work with are DHL, FedEx and Trackon Prime.

  1. How can I get my order delivered faster?

Please contact us and let us know regarding this. We will do the needful to make the delivery faster, if there is a feasibility

  1. I have received a partial item/partial order or an Untenanted/Void packet?

Please contact us and let us know regarding this by sending an email to care@katansi.com  within 24 hours of receiving your shipment. We will do the needful to make sure that the partial order / void packets are properly delivered

  1. If I place an order, how many days will it take to deliver the product?

Delivery of products depends on the availability of stock. If products are readily available. they will reach you within 5-7 working days within India after your order is confirmed and payment made. International deliveries will take 7-10 working days.

  1. Do you offer International Shipping?

Yes International Shipping is done worldwide by us and will take 7-10 working days.

     8. What are the shipping charges?

For purchase made at katansi, we offer free shipping to our customers. This is our way of spreading love.

  1. What if the delivered product is defective?

In case you received a damaged product, you need to email us a photo of the damaged product along with the return request by sending email to care@katansi.com within 24 hours of receiving your shipment.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the original invoice, as well as all tags, should be intact.

  1. What if there is a difference in color in the product?

Returning of products due to color variation is not possible.

In all our product description in the website, a note is clearly mentioned that there may be slight color variations due to photographic reasons. If you are still very particular or specific on the color, we can share a video of the product before the purchase of the product.

  1. How much time does it take to weave a pre-order product?

Pre-ordered products can take 20-25 days in some cases, depending on the products, it can take up to 40-45 days also.

    12. Why is my product taking more time than usual?

Please contact us and let us know regarding this. We will do the needful to make the delivery faster.

  1. What if I get the wrong product delivered?

Please contact us and let us know regarding this by sending an email to care@katansi.com within 24 hours of receiving your shipment. We will do the needful for replacing the product

 

CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS

  1. What is Katansi’s Cancellation Policy?

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it. You have two options.

You can exchange it for the available product on the store. Order value should be the same or higher, it cannot be less than the order value.

We can refund you the money after deducting the transaction and service charges. That process will take 8-10 working days.

  1. Can I modify the shipping address of my order after it has been placed?

You can change your shipping address after you place an order as long as the item has not shipped. Typically, you can only do this the same day an order was placed because items are shipped as fast as possible. If an item has already been processed for shipping, you will not be able to change the address

  1. How do I cancel my order?

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it.

You can exchange it for the available product on the store. Order value should be the same or higher, it cannot be less than the order value.

  1. I just canceled my order. When will I receive my refund?

We can refund you the money after deducting transaction and service charges. That process will take 8-10 working days.

PAYMENTS

  1. Can I place a Cash on Delivery (COD) order on Katansi

Cash on delivery (COD) is only available in India subject to pin code served by our courier partners. In the case of COD delivery can take more than 12-15 working days depending on the pin code. Extra Delivery charges may apply in the case of COD.

  1. Can I pay through Cards or Net banking?

Yes, payments can be done using Cards or Net banking

  1. I have tried several times trying to pay for my order with my credit card but the payment is not going through. What could be the reason?

List of common reasons why payments fail:

The banking transaction server may be down

Your credit card limit was reached (insufficient funds)

The charge exceeded the maximum amount allowed for a single charge

Your card reached the maximum number of charges allowed in a period:

Your card doesn't accept charges from an online source

Your card doesn't allow international transactions

You can contact your bank’s customer care helpline to know the exact reason. Add the product to the cart and try doing the transaction later

  1. Do you accept PayPal payments?

Yes, Papal payments are accepted. If you have to pay in PayPal, an extra charge will apply

  1. I was taken to some other website for the payment. Is it safe?

It is absolutely safe to make the payment to another website, we use only trusted websites for payment integration.

  1. What should I do if my payment fails?

You can contact your bank’s customer care helpline to know the exact reason. Add the product to the cart and try doing the transaction later. Please send a mail to care@katansi.com  regarding this

  1. If I return/cancel the purchased product will the GST/VAT amount charged be refunded?

No, we will not be able to refund the GST/VAT amount charged.
